FEBRUARY ACTIVITIES

For our project “Let’s go green”, the students studied the herbs about Mediterraneum area, specially the basil.

We cultivated the basil in our garden.

With the basil, the students made the “pesto”. Pesto is a sauce to flavor the pasta or to put on the bread for a little snack.

If you want to make pesto, this is the receipt:

Basil
Olive oil
Salt
Parmigiano cheese
Pecorino cheese
Pine nuts

You can cut the basil leaves with your fingers and put the ingredients in the mortar and stepping on helping with pestle.

When you obtain a sauce, your pesto is ready. Taste and enjoy!

We are partner in Erasmus Project “Let’s go green”. In this year it isn’t easy prepare activities with children for Corona virus rules but we try to do something. In
