“Places of Creative View” is a project that deals with the problem of upbringing and education in an inappropriate environment; dilapidated, mottled facades of educational institutions.

The project holders are the spouses Marina and Mario Matoković, whose children attended the Mak Kindergarten until this pedagogical year. The daily stay of children in a visually uncomfortable space, encouraged parents Matoković to change.

The realization of the project was preceded by phases of obtaining financial and other funds, selection of artists and motifs of murals. The educators defined the topics they deal with during the pedagogical year, and they were united through the main topic: four elements (earth, fire, water and air).

The aim of the project is to paint the kindergarten with educational murals that the educators will use as a methodological and didactic tool.

Artists Diana Mataković, Maja Biondić, Dominik Vuković and Jasmin Mišković took part in the painting of the kindergarten, which lasted from August 30 to September 5, with the help of numerous volunteers, all under the guidance of artistic director Teja Jurišić.

On Sunday, September 5, a presentation of the mural to the community was organized, which many citizens supported with their arrival.

The educators of the Mak Kindergarten already had the opportunity to use murals in their work with children in September. Using murals, they covered current topics in September: traffic, types of means of transport, mobility week, change of seasons, seasonal fruits and vegetables, and winter preparation.
