Istituto Comprensivo Sanremo Levante is a public school in Sanremo.

The school is divided into one head school and 6 sub-centers. There are 3 middle schools, 5 primary schools and 4 kindergartens. There is only one headmaster and only one legal-administrative office.

In each sub-centers there is a teacher like a coordinator. In total in the school there are about 900 students (171 in kindergarten, 357 in primary, 380 in middle school) and 120 teachers, 1 headmaster and 6 administrative-technical employees.

In Istituto Comprensivo Sanremo Levante there is only one ministerial secondary programme, 2 primary programs (Ministerial and Montessori) and 2 kindergartens programmes (Ministerial and Montessori). Indeed there is one Montessori primary school and one Montessori kindergarten.

In each sub-center were organized according to parents, teachers, center and local administration, sport program, drama program, programs for tradition, heritage and historical events, music and art program.

Our first motivation to join the project is because it is very important to raise our ecological program and create in our students a big interest about the Earth problem, to teach them the right behaviors in their life and respect the world. Our students, according to Agenda 2030, study sustainable
development goals particularly they reflect to improving a good quality of life, to inclusive education and equal for everybody.

A group of teachers to follow a course to improve the ecological programme in the school and they will get a certificate with which they could teach to others. Furthermore the teachers adapted the curricula to realize the sustainable development in all school area programmes.
Some teachers have taken part for 10 years in the Comenius Project and they have experience in eco programme and sustainable development.
